AR Rahman
On Sunday, February 27th, 2011 once again golden statuettes will go to deserving filmmakers. This year India has a special interest in the live telecast from the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. Not only is A.R Rahman nominated in the Original Songs category for “If I rise” from the movie “127 Hours”. Like all the other nominees in this category, he will also perform his song live at the Awards show, giving India a reason to be proud.
Rahman is nominated for an oscar for the 2nd time and his work in Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours was appreciated by one and all. Indians are waiting with bated breath to see A R Rahman walking away with his 3rd oscar. This time too he’s got double nomination. However, Rahman has got tough competition from the score of Social Network. Let’s see how it turns out to be, nonetheless we are eagerly looking forward to see A R Rahmna perform live on stage on ebruary 27th, 2011 at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.
