Talaash, the suspense thriller starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee, has been touted as the most awaited release of the year. The movie was supposed to get released on June 1st this year, but the latest news is that the makers have shifted the movie ahead to November 30. This shocking decision has fans fretting all over the internet, be it on Twitter or Facebook. Aamir fans have waited long enough already (post Aamir’s last release ’3 idiots’) and that’s the reason for the displeasure.
What is the reason behind this last minute postponement? Well, the official reason is that Aamir has got no time to promote the movie since his much-awaited TV Show is premiering around the same time. Being a perfectionist Aamir has always made it clear that he won’t work on two projects at the same time. He is afraid the promotion of Talaash and his TV show will clash and that will affect both!
However, as always, internet has its share of weird stories behind this postponement. Some claim that ‘Talaash’ is very similar to ‘Kahaani’ and that’s why they pushed it ahead!
On the other hand, now vacant golden release date, that is June 1st, is eyed by UTV’s ‘Rowdy Rathore‘ (starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha) and Kunal Kohli‘s Shahid Kapoor – Priyanka Chopra starrer.
