You heard it right, after some rave reviews and a successful start at the Box Office the makers of PRINCE are seriously tossing the idea of a sequel. The first time director, Kookie Gulati, confirms the news saying that there had hints left in the climax of PRINCE suggesting a possible sequel. The makers indeed had the idea of a sequel in their mind, but they were waiting for the movie to work at the box office so that they could develop the idea, and now after the movie has been accepted by the mass they are fully charged about the sequel.
This time, the movie is going to be bigger and better, so the cast is going to have some fresh additions, as the makers assert that none of the three heroines from the first installment would feature in the second one, instead there will have some of the hottest names in the industry vying for Vivek’s attention, such as Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Sushmita Sen.
Incidentally, when they approached some of the top heroines for PRINCE, nobody did show interest, they all thought it would be dud since Vivek wasn’t a hot property at the Box office or he was almost extinct from the Bollywood map. Vivek laughs off that the same heroines have sent him congratulatory message when the movie finally worked. However, having learnt his lessons in a hard way, he said he learned to take this in his stride and wants to focus only on the positive things happening to him. Well, we can’t blame those ladies, did we ever think PRINCE would work? No way, it looked like a sure flop when the promos were out, so, never say never, equations change in Bollywood on every Friday and Vivek has become much smarter by accepting this fact.
All the best for the sequel!
