It is well known that Shah Rukh Khan writes on his autobiography – when he will finish it, is a whole other story. But fans of the Badshah can take solace in the fact that at least one book on the actor will release next year: King Khan – The Official Opus of Shah Rukh Khan.
However it is not just an ordinary biography. It’s limitited to 999 copies and will cost around 1000$. The 37kg heavy volume is about 800 pages long. It contains exclusive content, including excerpts of SRK’s personal diaries, as well as rare pictures. Shah Rukh Khan is the second Indian to receive the honour of getting his own Opus book after cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar. He thus becomes a member of an illustrious circle including Michael Jackson, Manchester United FC and Ferrari, who are some of the celebs and institutions to have their own Opus issue.
The book is comprised of 13 chapters, shedding insight on Shah Rukh Khans off and on screen persona and detailed filmography among other things. The Official Opus will also come in the form of a DVD and as app for Apple devices as well as Android gadgets.
