Ayya, the Bollywood film starring Rani Mukherjee, is produced by Anurag Kashyap and directed by acclaimed Marathi director Sachin Kundalkar. Opposite Rani Mukherjee’s Marathi girl character, we have the south Indian heartthrob (mainly seen in Malayalam movies) PrithviRaj, who is known for his handsome face and acting potential. He has already proved his mettle in Malayalam movies where he is about to complete 10 years in 2012.
Although he was widely appreciated for his heroic appeal and unmistakable talent, the actor had to face sever criticism and mockery post his recent hush-hush marriage to a Mumbai based Journalist. However, he’s got appreciated once again in the latest release ‘Indian Rupee‘. His bilingual Urumi also fetched him accolades this year. In other achievements, he was paired opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan (Tamil version of Raavan).
Prithvi (that’s his nickname down south) was offered his Ayya role since the character is of a Tamil painter.
With fan following in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu, this young and talented actor is all set to try his luck in Bollywood. We wish him all the very best!

Happy to see Pritvi scaling new heights. He is such a fine actor. All the best
He is a fine actor.I really love him. Most people are jealous of him.
he is aflop star with good boasting capacity.he is very arrogant and pretentious person who tells he is a superstar and critisizes legends of malayalam film mamooty amd mohanlal who made malayalam cinema important atleast within the film fraternity in india and made malayalam film imprtant part of indian films inspite of low budget.this is flop sure.he ever wears a wig. he is nicknamed rajappan and some fools call him”superstar”.
this criticism is written for nothing…in malayalam industry no one can survive without talent…for 12 years he is in the industry with some top directors.. blind criticism is not a crime..but dont serve it here buddy
Haha. its idiots like you who prevent talented good-looking youngsters from coming up in the industry. So much so that outsiders think that the malayalam industry has only 2 actors. And while your mamooty and mohanlal may be very good actors, they are aging in the industry and shouldnt be doing young roles.
You’re probably jealous that the rest of the country appreciates this talented and extremely good looking young man. Perhaps Bollywood will do him justice. so go get a life loser.
He is excellent actor..i meant better than anyone in malayalam movie industry
this is funny.prithviraj is commented as having acting ptential.he just one of the overacting actor from south.
Prithvi is real hero in Malayalam and he is a wonderful actor.
IF ANY GIRLS READS TIS COMMENT…..TEN THEIR CHAPPELS WILL DO OVERACTING…NOT PRITHVIRAJ…

people like prithviraj r only there but has no importance among audience, giving flops after flops
IF HE GIVES FLOP AND FLOP THEN Y THE PRODUCERS INVEST IN HIS FILMS……
