A R Rahman’s ‘Oscar Sangamam’ For 84th Academy Awards 2012!

A R Rahman‘s presence at this year’s Oscar Awards (84th Academy Awards) was a pleasant surprise for his fans since he wasn’t nominated this year. The sight of A R Rahman playing his piano during the show was out of blue and his name trended number one worldwide on twitter for the same.

A R Rahman Unveils The Music Of Ek Deewana Tha At Taj Mahal

Gautam Vasudev Menon‘s first ever Hindi project (he is a very successful film maker in Tamil Nadu) Ek Tha Deewana is getting all the adulation for its music and none other than A R Rahman has composed the golden tunes. For A R Rahman, it was less daunting task as he was only required to adapt the existing tunes he had created for the Tamil original ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya‘ starring Simbu and Trisha. Without any doubt, it’s one of A R Rahman’s soulful albums with number of romantic melodies. The album also boasts of a Rock song – which is touted as the highlight of the album.

Rahman, the director Guatam Vasudev Menon, lead actors Prateik and Amy Jackson, singers Madhushree and Naresh Iyer attended the music release function organized at the Taj Mahal. Take a look.

A R Rahman, Ranbir Kapoor & Mohit Chauhan At Rockstar Live Concert

For Ranbir Kapoor, the next super star in the making, a live concert is an all-new experience. That’s not the case of A R Rahman and the singers like Mohit Chauhan and Javedi Ali. Nonetheless, Ranbir camouflaged his nervousness and became a true rockstar on stage at the live concert organized to promote Ranbir’s upcoming movie Rockstar. The concert was held at the Bhavans College Ground in Andheri, Mumbai, on Tuesday night.

Rockstar is a musical and the songs are composed by oscar winner A R Rahman. Most of the songs are sung by Mohit Chauhan. Since the movie is a musical, the team behind the movie thought of a concert to promote the movie. Well, it was such a treat for those who were at the concert, as A R Rahman, Mohit Chauhan, Javed Ali sang the super hit songs like Sadda Haq, Phir Se Ud Chala, Jo Bhi Main, Kun Faaya Kun, Katiyan Karun, Nadaan Parinde and Tum Ho. In fact, Sadda Haq has already became a rage and it got maximum applause at the concert as well.

The title of the movie is Rockstar, the music composer is A.R. Rahman, the director is Imtiaz Ali, and the lead actor is Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir And Imtiaz At Rockstar Song Kun Faya (Qawali) Shoot

After the mesmerizing and deeply spiritual Kwaja Mere Khwaja (Jodha Akbar) & Arzian (Delli 6), A R Rahman has composed yet another beautiful Qawali for Imtiaz Ali‘s Ranbir Kapoor – Nargis Fakhri starrer Rockstar, titled Kun Faya. Being a spiritual person himself, Rahman finds most happiness in composing qawali’s and in fact the Jodha Akbar track was one of his personal composition, which was never meant for any movie.
