Ajay Devgn & Sonakshi Sinha Are The Worst Actors At Golden Kela Awards 2013

Ajay Devgn & Sonakshi Sinha in Son Of Sardaar
Shirish Kunder’s movie on aliens & a remote village full of crazy people titled Joker won the worst film award. This movie had received maximum flak when it got released in 2012. Even the lead actor Akshay Kumar stayed away from promoting the film. It’s undoubtedly the most bashed film of the year on every medium including twitter.
The worst sequel award went to Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2. However the movie was a huge box office success in 2012. But then again the reviews were not that encouraging.
“Bawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke” (have you gone mad) award went to Indian moviegoers. One has to say it’s an apt award since Indian mass is the reason behind the success of many low-grade masala movies in 2012 & in the last couple of years.
The most irritating song award was given to “Chinta Ta Chinta” song from Rowdy Rathore. “Po Po” song from Son of Sardaar gave tough competition to Chinta Ta in this category.
Most atrocious lyrics award went to Anvita Dutt for “Ishq Waala Love” from Student Of The Year, directed by Karan Johar. This spoof of this song titled “Gaana wala song” had gone viral on the internet in 2012 making fun of the shallow lyrics. Once again, an apt winner we must say!
A special award titled “Superhit of 2012″ went to Shahrukh Khan for his slapping controversy with Shirish Kunder. Well, this is the wittiest title without any doubt!
Another hilarious award “Why Are You Still Trying” went to Jackky Bhagnani, the son of famous producer Vashu Bhagnani, who has been struggling to find a foothold in the industry with his failed attempts like “Kal Kissne Dekha”, “Ajab Gazabb Love” and the recent “Rangrezz“.
Another important award “Bas Kijiye Bahut Ho Gaya” went to the Bhatt family. They have been making B-grade sex thrillers over the years and the award organizers have decided to make fun of the Bhatt family through this special honor.
Last but not least, the good movies were also also honored at the ceremony with an award titled anti-kela awards. The winners in this category are Anurag Kashyap’s “Gangs of Wasseypur”, Tigmanshu Dhulia’s “Paan Singh Tomar”, Shoojit Sircar’s “Vicky Donor” and Sujoy Ghosh’s “Kahaani”.
With that, Golden Kela awards have once again proved that they are the wittiest & most daring award organizers in Bollywood!
