Yashraj Films Ropes In Ayushman Khurana & Sonam Kapoor For Their Next!

Is living on love and fresh air really possible?

Passionately in love Mohit Chadhdha (Ayushman) and Mayera Sehgal (Sonam), strongly believe it is. But Mayera’s wilful bureaucrat father, V.K. Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor), vehemently disagrees.

Who gets the last laugh in this slice-of life Delhi-comedy when recession strikes and the lack of money tests love… credit-card-junkies private-sector Mohit-Mayera; or safe-playing sarkari, V.K. Sehgal?

This fun-filled satire has been written by the versatile writer/director Habib Faisal and Produced by Aditya Chopra, and will be directed by Nupur Asthana. This is her second film for the Studio, after her successful directorial debut last year with Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, under the Y Films banner.

The untitled film has Rishi Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. This is both Ayushman andSonam’s first film with YRF.

The film is expected to go on floor in February and is slated for a 2013 release.

Sonam Kapoor Launches Anna. M.M. Vetticad’s Book!

Sonam Kapoor was in Delhi today to launch Anna M.M. Vetticad’s (noted film critic & Journalist) book on movies titled ‘The Adventures Of My Intrepid Film Critic’.

Since Anna is a film critic, Sonam Kapoor said “Honestly, my films have not done very well but I am in the industry because of the critics. They have always liked me…, I honestly feel that we need each other. We need somebody there. You need a referee at the end of the day. We need somebody’s perspective who has an intelligent view about things. You need critics because you need a review of what has been done and how do you better your product,”

However, Sonam’s “critics have liked me” quote soon became a headline on many websites. As we all know, Sonam was always criticized for her acting and this statement came off as a surprise for many. But Sonam Kapoor clarified this soon on twitter saying “People have no sense of humour a joke in which I’m laughing at myself becomes a headline!”

Well, now you know that she was laughing at herself at the event – sad that nobody could understand the sarcasm in her statement.
