Shoojit Sircar is a Bollywood director who directed movies like Yahaan (2005) and Vicky Donor (2012). Yahaan, featuring Jimmy Shergill & Minissha Lamba, was a box office failure but the movie won the Indian Competition Special Jury Award at Osian’s Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema in 2005. His second inning as a director started with 2012 hit Vicky Donor, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and produced by actor John Abraham. Vicky Donor became a cult classic soon after the release and it’s one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2012 as well. Vicky Donor actor Ayushmann Khurrana became an over night sensation after the release of the movie.
