With only 4 days left for the release, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu has already created huge buzz among its target audience. Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s chemistry is unmistakable on and off screen. Having seen them sharing such a wonderful vibe, we can’t wait for them to see in another movie, isn’t it?
09)Rowdy Rathore (1% Votes)
Rowdy Rathore is a joint production of UTV and Sanjay Leela Bhansali featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. In this south-remake directed by Prabhu Deva, Akshay Kumar goes back to his action roots after a string of flops in comedy genre. The movie is scheduled for June 15, 2012. Akshay Kumar plays double role, that of a thief and IPS officer. The movie caught the fancy of the audience for its 70’s inspired hand painted posters by street painters. For the same reason, the movie now has become talk of the town – nice move Mr. Bhansali!
08)Teri Meri Kahani (1% Votes)
The rumoured on-off couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra come together for this Kunal Kohli film set in 1960s and 1970s. The movie looks like fun if the on the sets stills are anything to go by. The plot is still not known, but it’s the most anticipated release of 2012 for Shahid and Priyanka fans.
07)Barfee (3% Votes)
Barfee stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz in lead roles. Notably, this Anurag Basu movie has got an unusual plot where it revolves around a deaf man (Ranbir Kapoor), a mentally challenged girl (Priyanka Chopra) and a murder mystery. Looks like we have an interesting film coming up in July!
06)Heroine (3% Votes)
At one point, even Media was tired of Heroine all thanks to the never ending controversies prior to the shooting. For the same reason Heroine is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. We are all curious to know what Madhur Bhandarkar – Kareena Kapoor combo brings to the table. After all, we all want to be blown away by the performance of Kareena Kapoor, isn’t it?
05)Talaash (5% Votes)
The genre notwithstanding, when Aamir Khan comes with a movie everyone takes notice – yes, he hardly goes wrong in his judgement (at least when we look at the movies he have been associated with in the recent past). He is known for his keen eye for marketing and we are all waiting for Aamir to bring some magic in to the promotional front. Moreover, the trailer was really intriguing. After all, what is that bloody suspense? Can anyone please tell us already?
04)Dabangg 2 (5% Votes)
Dabangg was one of the biggest hits India has ever seen and no wonder why it is on this list. Salman Khan commands a huge viewership all over India right now and Dabangg 2 should be even bigger hit than the predecessor. Chulbul Pandey has become a household name and he is such an entertaining cop – we all want to see his antics all over again on screen.
03)Aiyya (11% Votes)
The south sensation Prithviraj and comeback queen Rani Mukherjee come together for this Sachin Kundalkar directorial co-produced and written by Anurag Kashyap. Set in Mumbai, movie speaks about the unusual yet funny love story between a Marathi girl and a Tamil painter. Culture clash is put to good use here to invoke a funny storyline.
02)Ek Tha Tiger (25% Votes)
The Newyork director Kabir Khan and Yashraj films come together for yet another thriller on terrorism (presumably) featuring Salman Khan and Katrina kaif. Come August, we will get to see a high-voltage drama cum thriller, since Kabir Khan has shown his command on the genre already.
