Akshay Kumar’s Entertainment had a decent opening weekend as the movie collected 36.69 crore nett in first 3 days in India. On Friday it collected 11.16 crore nett. It saw minimal growth on Saturday as it collected 11.53 crore. However, Sunday was better as it collected 14 crore, taking its total to 36.69 crore. The movie also stars Tamannah Bhatia, Prakash Raj, Mithun Chakraborty, Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh, Krishna etc. The reviews have been average to bad for the film. However, viewers felt that it’s a good time pass movie.

Akshay Kumar’s Holiday has done excellent business at the box office in the first two weeks. The movie crossed the 100 crore mark in India in first 15 days! Right now, Holiday is the 2nd biggest grosser of the year behind Salman Khan’s Jai Ho. Though screen counts have been reduced after first two weeks (especially after the arrival of Sajid Khan’s Humshakals), the movie is doing steady business on the lower range. On 3rd Tuesday it collected 1.20 crore, taking its total collection to 108.20 crore.
Akshay Kumar’s Holiday has become the 2nd highest grosser of 2014 beating Karan Johar’s ’2 states’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Aalia Bhatt. Holiday, directed by Ghajini director Murugadoss has done good business in its 3rd weekend itself. The movie collected 2.65 crore on its 3rd Sunday (17th day), taking its domestic total to 105 crores.
Akshay Kumar & Sonakshi Sinha’s Holiday continues to do well at the box office as the movie has entered 100 crore club in India! Holiday is the 3rd movie to enter 100 crore club this year after Salman Khan’s Jai Ho & Karan Johar’s 2 States. Holiday entered the 100 crore club in India on its 2nd Friday (15th day).
Notably, this movie has done really well in overseas markets. Akshay Kumar movies had been losing their charm in overseas market over the years but Holiday has changed it! It has done best in UAE-GCC circuit. It is doing really well in Pakistan as well.
Akshay Kumar’s Holiday is doing good business as the movie has crossed 100 crore mark in worldwide box office! The movie is fast inching towards 100 crore club in India as well, as it collected 91.29 crore nett in India in 11 days! The movie has collected 20.50 crore nett in overseas box office, taking its worldwide total to 111.79 crore! Holiday, also starring Sonakshi Sinha did excellent business in 2nd weekend as well. And the movie is still going strong as it collected 3.15 crore on 2nd Monday.

The movie had fetched decent reviews. Holiday also stars Sonakshi Sinha and it has topped the business of Rowdy Rathore in the first week. All thanks to the good word of mouth, Holiday is expected to do well in second week as well.
