We have posted English Vinglish 3 min long trailer a while ago and everyone seems to love this movie – all thanks to the interesting trailer and ever-gorgeous Sridevi. She’s making a come back with English Vinglish after several years. It looks like waiting for English Vinglish to happen was the right decision for her – the movie already looks like a winner . A housewife’s struggle to master English language (to impress her husband and in-laws) seems to have struck the right chord with the viewers if the praise on twitter is anything to go by. The director Gauri Shinde, and her husband & producer R. Balki were present at the trailer launch to address the media. English Vinglish Movie On The Sets Photos Ft. Sridevi & Amitabh Bachchan

English Vinglish marks the come back of yesteryear’s Bollywood queen Sridevi. Since the women centric and small-independent movies have started finding an audience in the city multiplexes we have many small good films releasing these days despite the surge of masala 100 Crore movies – English Vinglish is one of those good-small movies (at least it seems so from the trailer). Amitabh Bachchan does a small cameo in the movie. Sridevi plays the role of a South Indian woman who learns to speak English to impress her husband & his family. The story sounds interesting and so is the trailer. R. Balki (director of Cheeni Kum & Paa) produces the movie while his wife Gauri Shinde directs it. English Vinglish: First Look Poster & Teaser Trailer

Sridevi is making a grand come back with ‘English Vinglish’, a film directed by Gauri Shinde (also, produced by her husband R. Balki of Paa fame). The first look trailer trended right on top on twitter today, indicating that audience has already shown green signal. English Vinglish releases with mighty Heroine (starring Kareena Kapoor) on September 21, 2012. Both are heroine centric films and it remains to be seen who comes out with flying colors.

This unique first look trailer has Sridevi (looking amazing for her age!) trying to read the English on the huge sensor board certificate of the same film. An innovative idea, we must say!
