Viewers were subjected to a guessing game all through the last week with a name ‘Gippi’. The main character named Gippi of Karan Johar’s next production of the same name, directed by Sonam Nair, was introduced by Dharma Productions in-house actors like Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor & Imran Khan through promotional vidoes. The name of the character and movie caught the fancy of the audience for the same. Except the name nothing much was revealed about the movie until now.

Finally with the release of the trailer yesterday, it’s been revealed that it’s the name of the teenage character in the movie. As you can see she’s not the prettiest girl in the class and she’s bullied several times by her class mates for her weight. It looks like Karan Johar has made a movie based on his school days as the director had revealed once that he was bullied in school for the same. The debutante director Sonam Nair is the captain of the ship. Vishal Shekhar has composed the music. The movie stars Riya Vij, Divya Dutta, Doorva Tripathi, Arbaz Kadwani, Jayati Modi & Taaha Shah.

The story is told from the perspective of a teenage girl and it covers the simple joys, anxieties, insecurities, friendships and crushes that are part of the lives of every single girl of that age.

Nautanki Saala Trailer Ft. Ayushmann Khurrana & Kunal Kapoor

As promised, the theatrical trailer of Rohan Sippy’s upcoming laugh riot ‘Nautanki Saala’ was unveiled today and we must say that the trailer does promise a roller coaster ride of fun and laughter.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur, the film revolves around two young men working for a theatre troupe and how their lives get complicated when they fall in love. The film also stars Pooja Salvi, Gaelyn Mendonca and Evelyn Sharma.

Interestingly, both Khurrana and Kapur, who will be seen playing theatre artistes in the film, have prior theatre experience and both the actors dabbled in drama before coming on the big screen.

This ‘nautanki’ is slated to release on April 12, 2014.

Nautanki Saala is a fun comic film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Pooja Salvi, Evelyn Sharma, Gaelyn Mendonca. Ram Parmar (Ayushmann Khuranna) one night meets Mandar Lele (Kunaal Roy Kapur) who is troubled and lonely. It is the story of their bonding and friendship

The buddy comedy will give the audience comedy, laughter, romance and a new comic jodi of 2013, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kunaal Roy Kapur, in Nautanki Saala releasing on 12th April 2013.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns Traile Ft. Irrfan Khan, Mahie Gill, Soha & Jimmy

Acclaimed director Tigmanshu Dhulia is back with the sequel to his 2011 film Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster. The movie is titled Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns and it has Jimmy Shergill and Mahie Gill returning to their original roles. Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan are the new faces in the franchise. Irrfan Khan plays the gangster in this film (Randeep Hooda played this role in the first film and his character got killed in the first film).

Tigmanshu Dhulia had a wonderful innings in 2012 as his Irrfan Khan starer ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ not only became a hit but also swept most of the awards this season. He was also played the villain in Anurag Kashyap’s cult film ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ – he won quite few awards as well fo this portrayal. The talented director is back with yet another quality film. Mahie Gill’s performance in the first film was highly appreciated and she is all set to recreate the magic in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns.
